Mission:

Our mission is to create a vibrant, engaging, and inclusive environment for pickleball in the Wolfeboro community and region.  A place where long-time as well as brand-new friends can connect, laugh, compete, socialize, and enjoy the game. We welcome all ages and all levels. Our rules are simple – respect each other and have fun.

Our Story:

In 2015, a group of local pickleball players created the New Hampshire Lakes Region Pickleball Club to help spread opportunities for play across our community.Since that time, the “LRPC” has helped to organize year-round pickleball play in the Wolfeboro region at locations such as Foss Field and Kingswood schools in Wolfeboro, Lions Camp Pride in New Durham, and Tuftonboro Central Middle School. In 2022, long-time Wolfeboro resident George Vanderheiden and LRPC co-founder passed away. He very generously bequeathed substantial funds from his estate for the purpose of building a dedicated pickleball facility that would make year-round pickleball possible for local players at reasonable fees.

With the help of the Vanderheiden Family Foundation, the LRPC purchased a 35-acre parcel of land in Wolfeboro in 2025, and a conceptual building design was created.

Planning is in progress now to ensure the new facility will be economically sustainable while meeting current and future needs of our Wolfeboro community and region.Fundraising is a critical part of that effort.
